1.  The most frequent electrical problem is the microwave circuit.  The microwave draws approimately 16 amps and must be on a dedicated circuit by itself.  Many home owners and residential electricians tap off this circuit to save money with causes the circuit to overload.

2.  The next frequent electrical porblem is a refrigerator or a freezer.  These appliances draw approximate 14 amps by itself.  Refregerator or freezer will run on a share circuit until the compressor comes on overloading when other devices are on, tripping the circuit breaker.

3.  Electrical outlets going dead.  The common problem is called back stabbing which is the electrical device has all the wires plugged into the back of the outlet or switch.  This method happens when the spring tension loosens or burns open causing all the electrical devices that are connected become inoperative.  All residentail electricjans back stab all the outlets and switches because of cost.  To prevent this from happening is a method called pig tailing.  This is when the all the black wires are wire nutted together and white wires are wire nutted together leaving one set of wires going to the outlet.  If the outlet fails it will not affect the other outlets that are attached to this circuit. Do not try this yourself,  Please hire a licensed electrician to prevent harm to yourself and people in your family.
